    I'm so excited to be performing a recital of Handel arias in the composer's own house (now a beautiful museum)! This will be a beautiful candlelit recital where audiences can explore the house and museum exhibits. The wonderful Apolline Khou and Aurélien Pinchon play harpsichord and baroque cello.

    The Death of Dido is one of a group of masques written in and around 1715. It was written by the German composer Johann Pepusch who arrived in England in 1704. Maryam performs the role of Dido opposite Austin Haynes as Aeneas.

    Maryam performs the role of Lisetta in New Chamber Opera's production of Haydn's riotous comedy, La Vera Costanza (The True Constant), which was one of the composer's early works for the theatre at Esterháza and first performed in 1779.
